With reference to the Regulation of ΤhPA S.A. for the safe operation of the tugboats’ towing services, during their mooring and unmooring within the facilities of ThPA S.A., it is announced that from 1.1.2024 the implementation of the Regulation has commenced, in respect to all the predicted requirements provided in articles 3 and 4 of the tugboats and their companies, operating in our port facilities.
As according to article 114 par. 7 of Law 5079 (Government Gazette 215 A’/22-12-2023), a six-month deadline was granted for the compliance of the tugboats, according to the provisions of PART A’ and PART C’ of the P.D. 83/2022, it is notified that within the port facilities of ThPA S.A., any tugboat can operate until 30/6/2024, as long as it meets the minimum requirements of the Regulation, regardless of whether it complies with P.D. 83/2022
From 1/7/2024, all tugboats providing towing services within the facilities of ThPA S.A., must fully comply with the provisions of the P.D. 83/2022.
