The Thessaloniki Port Users’ Council meeting, as provided by article 104 of law 4504/2017, took place today, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 via teleconference, chaired by the Executive Chairman of the BoD of ThPA S.A., Athanasios Liagkos and with the participation of the Managing Director – Chief Executive Officer of ThPA S.A., Franco Nicola Cupolo.
During the meeting, which was held in an atmosphere of respect, confidence and cooperation, the vision and the mission of ThPA S.A. as well as the recent developments of the major projects for the development of the Port of Thessaloniki in terms of infrastructure, equipment and the level of provided services were presented and discussed in detail. The teleconference was attended by a total of 21 representatives from 21 bodies (users and members of the wider port community) who had the opportunity to exchange views on various issues related to the exceptional operation of the Port of Thessaloniki as the main gateway port to the Balkans and Southeastern Europe.
Recognizing the importance and the benefits of the substantial and frequent interaction between the members of the Thessaloniki Port Community with the primary objective of maximizing it, it was decided to hold the meetings at regular intervals.
