ThPA S.A. is proud to announce it has been granted the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) License for Security and Safety (AEOS) from the Independent Authority for Public Revenue.
Thessaloniki Port’s strategic role in the development of the international supply chain with the neighboring Balkan and South East Europe countries is further enhanced with secure and reliable customs control procedures that meet the highest standards.
The AEO license is granted to economic operators who meet specific strict criteria, related to the compliance with customs legislation and rules, the reliability of their accounting and information systems, the completeness and accuracy of its internal procedures, the ability to respond to their financial commitments, as well as the established security and protection measures within their business and in relation to their business partners.
The Authorized Economic Operators are recognized as secure and safe business partners in the international supply chain and enjoy several benefits. These include, inter alia, faster processing of the customs transactions, international recognition through the Mutual Recognition Agreements between the European Union and third countries and the strengthening of recognition of their reliability at an international level through the right to use the registered AEO logo.
ThPA S.A. takes this opportunity to warmly thank the Customs Authorities for the outstanding cooperation throughout this process.
