On Friday 27th of March 2020, departed from the Port of Thessaloniki with final destination Skopje, a train carrying thirty (30) containers to serve industries of the neighbouring country. This is an important event in maintaining the smooth operation of the supply chains that are served through the Port of Thessaloniki, which plays a major role as Gateway to the Balkans, serving a wide hinterland with a population of over 25 million inhabitants
